In the high seas of remote Alaska, loading and unloading people and supplies can be treacherous. SafeRack’s MarinaStep custom marine gangway proved to be the perfect solution for a local fish processor’s safety improvements. In the case of this particular project, the berthing area was not square with the face of the dock causing the work barge to be vulnerable to hazards when aggressive storms blew in. Keeping vessel operators safe regardless of the weather and efficient loading and unloading of product and supplies was the key in keeping this busy fish processing plant running smoothly.
